I started out with Mosaic, which I guess was the forrunner to Firefox. Since it was really the only browser it didn't matter. We used it and thought the internet was this wonderous thing. Even Yahoo, the first search engine was amazing.

Then came the Mozilla project and browsers out of Mosaic. Microsoft released IE 1.0. it was ok. Then it got better. Then it became the standard.

Now, MS IE won't run many sites correctly. I think it has to do with not including Java and other things many sites use. Now the only things that run sites correctly are Chrome and Firefox. I still use Safari on my iPads, but again since it doesn't support Flash, there are still some sites it won't work on.

That's awesome man. When I did my certification dives, the water temperature was just above 40 degrees and the air temperature was below freezing. We did that two days in a row. We had wet suits on for those dives. These guys use dry suits. Imagine putting on a dry suit, diving in cold (and yes, 40 degree water is VERY cold) getting out and not only being dry, but being warm! Maybe that's why dry suits are so expensive.

Thanks for sharing this man... makes me want to dive. Of course, I will go to the Bahamas or something where the water is near 90!

I love your blog... I wish you wrote more often than you do. I love getting your perspective on things, and since I know you I can pretty much see you saying these things. I also appreciate you being thankful for what your blog has provided you. People always ask me, "How much money do you make on your blog?" Well... I don't know. You might not know either.

Anyway, good post buddy. I look forward to a fun filled 2012!

I really think Grant deserved this one. I've been watching this guy skate here in Atlanta since he was a kid and he's always been amazing. He is an all-terrain beast! Congrats to grant for bringing the SOTY trophy home to Atlanta!

Steve, this is not in the Alps! It was done in one of the Norwegian Fjords. Perhaps you can now see why you need to get to Norway. Don't even think about the flying part....I nearly fainted watching it!!!

Rob,

Thanks for your comment. I haven't seen or heard anyone say that people shouldn't have a right to speak out against Tim Tebow if they so choose. From my perspective, it looks as though Tebow's supporters are saying leave the guy alone, not, his critics should have their first amendment rights stripped away from them. I mean the reality is that Tebow is one of how many of the 1600+ NFL players that gives interviews like he does? Not many. When he's in such a minority in terms of what he talks about relative to his teammates, NFL players, or even professional athletes of as a whole, mocking him for his religious beliefs is seen by some people as discriminatory. I'm not saying it is or isn't, that kind of depends on how you line up the facts and interpret the dynamics of this situation. All I'm saying is that from my perspective, there is a lot about this situation that justifies letting Tebow be left alone.

I know I kind of ignored the other questions you posed, but I think that those are debates for another day. I'll keep this focused on the NFL. Good comment.

Why do Christians consistently cry foul anytime someone speaks out against their beliefs? Are you so blinded by our own faith that you think the rest of us must sit idly by while we listen to someone use the media to preach what I consider to be complete nonsense? It's called freedom of speech. If I want to speak out against Tim Tebow's religious rhetoric then I have every right. Or does the Constitution only apply to those who practice "Christianity"?

How would you feel if Tebow was a Muslim and said "Allah Akbar" at every interview?
