I’m really glad I was a shutterbug in college. I have a lot of great photos that captured great memories from trips I went on as well as moments captured from day to day living. As I was going through some old photos I “rediscovered” my album from a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming back in 2008. Though I knew the photos were always there, it was cool to look back on them. Likewise it’s hard to believe, in fact it’s a little depressing, that it’s been over 6 years since I visited Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Nevertheless it was one.
One of my favorite photos was actually one my mom took of me out in front of the antler arches set up in downtown Jackson. These arches were put up a number of years ago and get replaced periodically as the antlers weaken and decay. They’re such a fixture in Jackson, that they’ve become a must have photo-op. I was fortunate enough to get one.
Even though it snowed while I was there in June, I found Jackson to be an absolutely awesome place. I could get used to living in a “hole” in the mountains. I could go on and on about it, but maybe that’s best over coffee or a beer. All I’ll say is that if you ever have a chance to go, do it and take a lot of pictures.
