Innovation is doing something in a new and compelling way. Almost since their inception, vehicles have been advertised to portray their speed, durability and power. The fast majority of cars are still marketed in this manner. However, most people do not buy vehicles because of their speed or power anymore. Nissan’s marketing department may very well be the first of it’s kind to advertise vehicles in a different manner. The focus being, not what the car does on the road or how it looks, but what it does for the environment. This is innovation in automobile marketing.
