A few weeks ago I saw a posting on SmallerIndiana.com about a weekend conference called Indianapolis Startup Weekend. I saw that it was only $50 (I ended up getting a student discount and participating for even less) and thought to myself “what the heck, I might as well go.”
I arrived at the Purdue Research Park near the Indianapolis International Airport this past Friday and quickly found myself pitching and evaluating concepts along with 30-40 others. I eventually joined a group and set out to develop the next internet sensation. Our idea gradually evolved from a network for homebrewing enthusiasts to an action button creation and testing site called Ninja Button.
I really don’t know anything about programming other than a few simple terms, so I committed to leveraging my writing and internet communication skills to promote the business. I figured I would tell you, my faithful readers (if there are any), about Ninja Button so you can follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, subscribe to our Vimeo channel. I’m excited to be a part of this project, mainly because it’s a totally new experience for me. I’m also glad working with great people; energetic, creative, and passionate about what they do.
So anyway, if you have a chance to check out Ninja Button or you need new, effective buttons for your website, take a look at our promo video and check us out!
